One of the best depictions of Tarzan ever!
ReplyDeleteThanks pal...I was hoping it was a successful piece. thanks.
ReplyDeleteIt's official, you are now my favorite Tarzan artist!
ReplyDeleteWow thanks Lloyd, an honor indeed.
ReplyDeleteDamn nice rendering Tom. Wow, I see you'll pull out the stops at the Dum Dum.
ReplyDeleteReading At The Earth's Core. It's a fairly recent edition used paperback 1990 on Del Ray, and in the back there's a club /fanzine in Midland, which surprised me. It says: Tarzine, 914 Country Club Dr. Were you familar with them?
No never heard of that group. It is great to find Burroughs fans all over, even in Midland.
ReplyDeleteI keep looking at this piece. It's truly wonderful. I love all your illustrations in TARZAN OF THE APES, pal...but I think this one might be your definitive Ape Man, for me, anyways.
ReplyDeleteAre you thinking of coloring it?
Damn Tom, nice one!!!
ReplyDeleteway-cool.
