Well not sleeping much has some advantages. Maybe not in the long run, but if I give up a few nights now and then, I get some work done.
Ok, here is a question for you. Since I am a huge fan of pulps, and this widevision format from Moonstone is kind of like a modern pulp....should I grayscale the images? or leave the line work alone? For the most part I think the folks at Moonstone would prefer the grayscaled image thinking since the book isn't color, at least I don't think it is....I better check on that, grayscale is the next step down. Let me know what you think.
Anyway something to ponder.
More progress later this weekend, Legionniares.
I love the grey tones look. The other is damn cool, too, though. You're a genius.
ReplyDeleteI really like all three, line, gray, and color, but, gray seems to me to suit the Pulp.
ReplyDeleteWhen I see the Scientists expressions when seeing Helene in her summer outfit, this word comes to mind, "EGADS!", I don't know why.LOL!
"Egads" is an excellent response from these scientific stuffed shirts! Mind if I borrow that, Lloyd?
ReplyDeleteThese are spectacular. The Muckers picked the right right Artist Guest of Honor for the Edgar Rice Burroughs convention this summer. Tom Floyd knows jungle adventure.
ReplyDeleteMartin, borrow away! Sometimes you see a scene like Tom's, and it speaks to you, and that what it said to me.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lloyd! I'll find a way to honor your contribution in the story...stay tuned.
ReplyDeleteEGADS is perfect! And I hear the one next to him saying "I say!" in a British voice combining disapproval and prurient interest. It's definitely the two on the left talking though.
